Lakeview Family Restaurant: A Must-Visit Destination for Delicious Hot Dogs and Comfort Food

Had supper there. Fried chicken... perfectly cooked, fresh oil used. Had breakfast there this morning. Glad I ordered light cuz the servings are large. Definitely get what you pay for. Will eat there again if I'm ever through this area

We eat here almost every time we are in the area. Good food, great prices and the staff is so friendly. We have even been there in Christmas Day as our meal at home got ruined and we needed a last minute meal. And again, the staff was so friendly.

Cute restaurant - looks like it was newly decorated. Welcoming atmosphere. My husband ordered the chopped steak and onions which he enjoyed. I ordered the breaded pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and gravy. Unfortunately the meat was very thin and way over cooked - could hardly cut it. I had to send it back. Kaley, our server, was professional and friendly and didn't charge for that meal.

We eat here a lot and they have great food & friendly service, breakfast or dinner the food is always good served hot and big proportions, highly recommend..

These people are great. The workers are dedicated and hold very well against the rush hour. The food is exactly what you hope for (albeit somewhat greasy, but what isn't?) and the energy of the place is very warm and welcoming. My only gripe would be that there's no booths, but it's understandable, given the size. If you come to Shelbyville for the view, you should absolutely grab a bite here. They even have a cute train!

Very pleasant family restaurant. The service was great, the staff was so friendly and engaging. The food.... if you want food made the way grandma made it, come here. The walleye was incredible. You can tell the coleslaw was made in house and I could have eaten a gallon of it. Can't wait to try more dishes.

This restaurant takes over from the former Farm House restaurant. Now in it's 5th month of being open to I was finally able to go inside. Very nice atmosphere warm greeting staff and the owner who frequently walks the restaurant make this a relaxing place and make you feel welcome. I ordered a special off the offered choices instead of diving into the menu which had many more options. The food came in a relatively fast time nice and hot and tasted as good as it looked. Not disappointed at. I will be back and tackle the menu next.

Happened upon this place while on holiday and my mouth starts watering every time I remember their chicken alfredo and manhattan. Amazing food and atmosphere, and there's a cute train going around the whole restaurant! Definitely check it out.
